Transformation

anschegrob

Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.

Romans 12:2 (TPT)

My dear child, for growth to take place you don't need a comfort zone, you need transformation. Before you can believe something within your heart you need to accept it within your mind.

The journey between the mind and the heart can sometimes feel like the longest road that you'll ever take. When you stay dormant in one place you will find that you might have potential, but you will never know the true impact of that potential if you don't live it out as your purpose.

If you were a boat and I anchored you to the bottom of the sea, you will be firm and secure, but being anchored doesn't mean that storms won't come. You've been throwing cargo and valuable things off from the boat to make it lighter, but a lighter ship doesn't necessarily mean a safer ship. Does this make sense kid?

I have a proposal to make. Let out the sails of your boat in full surrender. Let My Spirit guide you with a constant wind. Trust in Me with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Me, and I will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

And when those waves come and the clouds mount up on the horizon, I will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). I will use the plans that were meant to harm you, to make you prosperous (Genesis 50:20). Through it, you will gain wisdom and understanding. It will be part of your testimony and you will see other people's lives changed through it. You were not created to have a self-centered life. I have a calling and purpose for you to portray My glory and goodness to those around you.

Let Me be your wind and let Me be your Lighthouse. And may your heart find rest in knowing that wherever I want you to be, is where you have to be.

Love you, always and forever,

Dad
