“Do not remember the former things, or ponder the things of the past. Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:18-19 (AMP)
What is your favorite season kid? Change isn't always something that one looks forward to, but looking back on your life, I know that you can testify how it builds character and develops growth within you. I love to see the leaves change color. Look down the valley to your right. There are so many colors coming together in this season. It gives Me great pleasure to paint this every morning.
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.
Ephesians 1:11 (NIV)
The consistency of the seasons shows that I am in control and unwavering in My word and promise that I have for your life.
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)
You are in My perfect plan to the finest detail, and today I want you to really sit and take it in. You thought that Spring would be here by now, and every day you look out of the window to see if the leaves have changed. You are missing out on what I want to show you in Autumn. Enjoy this very moment. Open up your eyes to see the beauty of this season. Look around and notice the people that I've placed around you and what you can learn from them.
Wrap a scarf around your neck, put on your coat, and let's go and explore today. Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin and see the vapor of your breath in the cold crisp air. Breathe in and know that in all of the places in the world that you could've been today, here and only here is where I want you to be. The same in your life, My dear child, I want you to be present in the season that you are in. Don't hibernate and think that you will wake up to Spring one day. No, I want you to enjoy and value the place that you are in, and one day, when you least expect it, the leaves will turn green again.
I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’
Isaiah 46:10 (NIV)
Love you, always and forever,
Dad
