Jesus answered him, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and with every thought that is within you.’ This is the great and supreme commandment. And the second is like it in importance: ‘You must love your friend in the same way you love yourself.’
Matthew 22:37-39 (TPT)
And at the end of the day, when all is done and you are alone, facing the ceiling in the dark, the question comes to mind whether you are aware of it or not.
"Am I really satisfied and fulfilled?"
You only accept love from others based upon the amount of love that you feel worthy to receive.
People push Love away because they feel unworthy to receive so much love and acceptance from someone Who is perfect and without sin. I'm not looking for perfect kid, I just want your heart, the good, the bad, and everything in between. I want you to see yourself through My eyes.
My dear child, there is a fine line between being humble and being ignorant of the Truth. As the saying goes, humility doesn't mean that you are thinking less of yourself, rather it means that you are thinking of yourself less. So when you feel sorry for yourself and believe that you are not worthy enough to receive My love and grace, you're not being humble, you are placing the focus on you, which is quite the opposite.
Accepting My love and grace is based upon what I have already done for you on the cross. YOU are worthy to receive because I am worthy. YOU are loved because I first loved you (1 John 4:19).
My plan wasn't for you to go through this life alone. Surround yourself with a community who can see my plan and purpose not only for their lives but for yours as well. If you seek, you will find (Matthew 7:7). Notice that I didn't specify what you should seek, I just said - seek.
So if you are seeking heartache, disappointment, and temporary fulfillment; newsflash, you will find it. But My dear child, if you seek My heart, My joy, My peace and love that will never run dry - you will find it.
I love you, always and forever,
Dad
