In conversation with You

I've chosen this road and journey with You, knowing that it might be narrow and less traveled, but You will always be with me, and that is enough. When they ask me to answer to my faith, I'll see it as an opportunity to share about Your goodness and mercy (1 Peter 3:15). For it was never about winning the hearts of people or persuading them as if it's a game, but rather showing Your heart, the heart of the Father, and knowing that it is all that Your children long for and all they'll ever need.

You see me, my motives, my thoughts, and all that is within my heart (Psalm 139). You know me better than I know myself, and yet You find me worthy to breathe life into. You designed me on purpose with purpose.

So place me where You want me, be the words in my mouth and the light to my feet (Psalm 119:105). Surround me with Your fragrance and fill me with Your peace. When I stand before choices, let it be Your wisdom that I seek and not the approval of man. Onto You and only You, may my praise and worship always be onto You.

I will stand at my guard post

And station myself on the tower;

And I will keep watch to see what He will say to me,

And what answer I will give [as His spokesman] when I am reproved.

Habakkuk 2:1 (AMP)

This is my prayer, the desire of my heart, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord forever (Psalm 27:4). Sitting at Your table, locked eyes with You, knowing that this is my identity: I am a child of the living King, on assignment to live out Your will and lead with Your love.

As creation [all nature] waits eagerly for the children of God to be revealed (Romans 8:19), may I not remain in hiding.

Surround me with Your spirit, set me apart for Your purpose. As the clouds thunder in the distance, I know that Your provision is always near. I'm expecting to receive from You and to soak in Your rain of revelation.

I love You, always and forever
