I vow

Dear Beloved

You have been My first love since the beginning of time (1 John 4:19). From the moment that our eyes met, I knew that My heart would forever pursue yours. My thoughts of you are as countless as the sand on the seashore (Psalm 139:17-18), no wonder I think about you every second of the day. You are worth every thought that has ever crossed My mind.

My Beloved, I vow to make you laugh as much as possible and to help you see and value the small things in life. I am passionate about what sets your heart on fire and I will always be your number one supporter.

I will hold nothing from you because I am truth (John 14:16). I vow that you will find that there is no better definition for love than laying one's own life down for another, and that is exactly what I did for you (John 15:13).

I vow to be your fortress, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46).

When rivers of difficulty roar you will not be swept away. When fiery trials blaze you will not be burned, I vow to be your protector and guide every step of the way (Isaiah 43:2).

I vow to be your shield when enemies come against you, I will fight for you (Psalm 44:7). I will bless you every single day of your life, even when people insult or criticize you, I will be your defender (Matthew 5:11).

I vow to always share My plans with you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you (Jeremiah 29:11). I will be your hope every day and your future is secure in My loving hands.

I vow to be the best team player. Together we can move mountains (Matthew 17:20) and accomplish the impossible (Mark 10:27). I vow that I will never stop chasing sunsets with you or gazing at the night sky filled with stars.

You will always be the words to My letters, the one over whom I sing and dance. Every day is a day closer to seeing each other face to face. When the time is right My Father will say the word and I will bring you back to the home that I have prepared for you (John 14:2).

I am so excited to do life with you and to see you grow and live out the potential for which you were created. I love you (Jeremiah 31:3) and I vow that nothing could ever change that (Romans 8:38-39). Death will not do us apart, for I will be standing right beside you as you enter into eternity with Me.

Heaven will sing as you walk down the aisle, dressed in white and clothed with purity and joy. And I will be waiting, I vow that I am waiting every day, longing to take your hands into mine and with tears of joy read My forever vows to you. I am worth the wait Beloved, you are worth the wait.

Love you now, always and forever,

Jesus
