All aboard

Tell Me about all those fears and worries that you carry around in your heart.

I know the waters might seem unfamiliar as if jumping off a cliff, not knowing how deep the water is. But I've been there before. I know these waters and their depth. It's like standing in front of this magnificent sailboat; ready to leave the familiar behind and step into a new season. It's time to embark on this journey, knowing that what is ahead is far greater than what you could've ever imagined. Do not fear the storm My child, do not fear the magnitude of the waves crashing against the boat. Don't look at the clouds and be intimidated by them. Don't go hiding in your cabin out of fear of all the "what ifs". I want you to see Me at the steering wheel. I am a skilled sailor. The boat goes in the direction that I plan it to go and although the wind may blow against us and the waves crash all around us, I still have authority over them both. The wind and waves still obey Me (Matthew 8:27). I want to develop in you a faith that David and Habakkuk had. An "Even if, I will" - type of faith:

• Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalms 23:4 NIV

• Though the fig tree does not blossom And there is no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive fails And the fields produce no food, Though the flock is cut off from the fold And there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the Lord; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet And makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility]. Habakkuk 3:17‭-‬19 AMP

So even if the storm rages or the clouds seem dark, I will protect you. Even when it doesn't make sense, and the reports didn't turn out as planned, I will be your Provider and Wisdom through it all. Even when the situation seems hopeless, I will be the Hope and Strength to carry you every step of the way. One thing is certain kid, I'm here for the long run, never leaving your side or taking My eyes off you for a split second. I only have good intentions and I know each day's weather forecast and what is laying ahead. For now, I want you to trust Me. Stop living in fear of tomorrow. What if today might just be the best day, only because you decided to change your perspective about your surroundings and start seeing Me right beside you. Oh, this is an adventure kid. Who said we may not enjoy it and be cheerful about the journey that's awaiting us. So I'm blowing the whistle, it's time. All aboard, you and Me, let's go!
