For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

"To know this love that surpasses knowledge"
It's not something that you just get My child, My love isn't some riddle that you have to figure out by yourself. My love is so wide, long, high and deep that it even surpasses knowledge. So how then could one grasp or understand it? It is only revealed by the power of My Spirit. It's when My love floods your soul and spirit, and makes its dwelling within your heart that you cannot help but be filled with awe and wonder of the love of the Father for you.
How much do you think I love My son Jesus? You can sum it up as a perfect love, since the beginning of time we have been in unity. For I granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those I have given him (John 17:2). In the same breath I want to ask you, how much do you think I love you? Half as much as I love Jesus? Maybe a quarter? No, my child, I love you with the same measure as my son, with a perfect everlasting love. "I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one - I in them and you in me - so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me." (John 17:22-23)
For some reason you think that this is a lie, the enemy tells you that you don't deserve love without measure. But see when you love as the world loves, it comes with measures and it is dressed in all shapes and sizes. My love is not based on what you do but on what I have already done. The only thing you have to do is to receive it. My Spirit will reveal the rest to you.
Why do I want you to receive My love?
Well, when you "kind of" understand My love for you, you will "kind of" follow.
How sad it would be to live a life where you are half-heartedly committing to something. "And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." (Eph 3:18-19)
Security - to be rooted and established in My love is what I long for you because the end goal is for you to be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Becoming more like Christ, showing the same grace and love to those around you. Paul understood something, he knew that he couldn't force My love upon others, that although he received an amazing revelation of My love, and that it changed his whole life around, he, out of his power couldn't impart that to someone else. So he prayed that My Spirit would reveal it to you, like only He can, with a love that is so patient and kind.
This is where your true identity comes in. When you "get" it, when you understand how good I am, how much I, the Father love you, your relationships with others will change. You won't strive to earn something or to see what you can get out of other relationships, but rather you will be full of My love that you won't rely on others to fulfill you. You will have grace with people, like Jesus, because you will understand that though you might disagree with them, or though they offend you, I still love them with the same love and My heart is for them to be filled with My Spirit as well.
If you had to jump out of a plane with a parachute, wouldn't you want to be sure that it works, that if you pull the handle, there will be a parachute that opens? My child, find security in Me, do not go into life with backpacks that look like parachutes, but it's just baggage that you are carrying with you. As Paul mentioned in 1 Corinthians 9, you are all running the race of life, "Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air." (1 Cor 9:26)
The goal is eternity, and eternity is to know the Father and to make Him known.
"Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." (John 17:3)
If you are hungry, if you want to understand My love, ask and you will receive (Matthew 7:7). Draw near to Me and I will draw near to you. My heart longs for you to see yourself through My eyes. I want you to find security in Me alone.
